Art deco design ring, cast in platinum and in the center is a 3.33 ct princess cut diamond that is bezel set. On the sides are two heart-shaped diamonds and there are 18 smaller round diamonds that are bead or pave set. A large ring but quite a stunner that was hand carved in wax prior to casting.

Remade the top of the ring to hold the 4.41 ct. square Emerald and surround it with diamonds in platinum. Then solder it to the top of an existing ring mounting and set the gems as low as possible. It took some doing and very careful setting of a fragile emerald.

My customer had diamond studs and a single diamond ring that I combined and added small diamonds in the rollover spaces between the larger stones!

I'm sharing an Emerald and diamond ring set in platinum. This big beauty was made from gems from 2 different rings that I combined to make one rather large new one. The Emerald is genuine which almost looks too good to be real and there is a .30 ct. oval diamond on either side of the shank.

This is a 14kt yellow gold and bezel set conch pearl ring! Conch pearls are quite rare and just like any pearl, it starts as a grain of sand that acts as an irritant inside the mollusk. That gets coated with the material from inside the shell. Conch pearls come in various shades of pink, salmon and white.

This is a 14kt. yellow gold 3 diamond bezel set engagement with channel set diamonds down the sides. I used the diamonds from an existing ring and added a 1/2 carat diamond to match the smaller diamond to balance the design. I like the smoothness of the bezels so there are no prongs to catch on things!

The diamond is an old mine cut that is why it doesn’t look totally round. This is another example of repurposing gems from jewelry not being worn to make something new and special!

The gems were taken from 3 different pieces of jewelry that my customer no longer wore. It is fun to create new jewelry designs to give gems a new life!

Here is a 14kt two-tone diamond engagement set. I had made the engagement ring at Christmas time and with the wedding next month it was time to make the criss-cross wedding band!

14kt white gold crisscross engagement ring, a version of a halo design.

This engagement ring is a hexagon design set in 14kt yellow gold with diamond baguettes on either side of the center diamond. It is a clean and simple design that a wedding band will fit nicely against the side since the hexagon top is raised up a bit.

Notice the special closer… The customer has a problem with large knuckles so I created a closure with wire that snaps up to keep the ring from turning once it gets over the knuckle. It can be added to almost any ring!

This is a family Crest ring made in 18kt yellow gold. The family name is Bridges and the design was hand carved in wax then cast into gold.

This is a 14kt yellow gold garnet and diamond ring that I made several years ago. My customer brought it in to be checked and polished. The beautiful thing is that after several years it shows no signs of wear! I like to make my pieces substantial so they will last a long time.

The center is an elongated Emerald cut with a trillion cut on either side. They are all bezel set so it is smooth to wear!

I took 9 pear-shaped peridots out of an outdated ring and made 3 "clover" shaped rings with a small diamond in the center of each in 14kt yellow gold. These were made for a Grandmother and her 2 grand daughters mimicking the pattern of the original mounting. Peridot is the August birthstone. A nice way to repurpose gems.

There were 21 -3mm round diamonds weighing 2.41 carats used in this ring. Nice and smooth with lots of sparkle, easy to wear!

For this project, I took the large center diamond out of the ring and had it recut because it had a bad chip. The recutting worked out well, the diamond only lost 9 points and was nicely restored. Then I made the new platinum diamond wedding band to fit next to the engagement ring. It curves to follow the shape of the ring.

My shop often makes jewelry for other stores in the area so this week I'm sharing a special ring made that we made for another jeweler. The center diamond is a bezel set, fancy yellow 7.03 ct. radiant cut diamond with white quadrillion cut diamonds on either side of the center. The center diamonds are surrounded with brilliant round diamonds that taper in size down the sides.

This is a 14kt white gold Engagement ring that I recently completed. My customer wanted to redesign her ring to get rid of the prongs and make it smooth to wear. Right up my alley, so I designed it with a bezel for the center diamond and two rows of low profile channel set diamonds down the sides.

This is a 14kt Boulder opal and diamond man's ring. My customer brought in the opal and asked me to make him a ring. I designed it so the opal would be protected and I added to row of diamonds on one side to give the ring a little different twist.

This is a 14kt two-tone ring fashioned from my customer's tattoo of "Forget-me-not " flowers. They are very sentimental to her. I used blue sapphires for the buds and white gold clusters that were inserted and soldered into the center of the flowers for contrast.

This is a very special project that has been in the works for quite a while. My customer visited her grandmother's birthplace, Claddagh, Ireland and bought a claddagh ring which she unfortunately lost. Then her husband passed away. So as a remembrance, she decided to combine the diamonds from her engagement ring and several other pieces to make another claddagh ring, which is actually an insert ring. One of the requests was to make the ring a shiny black finish over 14kt white gold. I think this creates quite an unusual but attractive look.

This is a 14kt yellow gold opal and diamond ring that has quite a lot of flash in the stone. You get different colors from each angle!

This is a 14kt rose gold ring with a rose quartz oval cabochon that I just completed. The rose quartz is held in with prongs that have small rubies on the ends to add color. It is then surrounded by a halo of small diamonds for more sparkle.

This is a 18kt yellow gold Diamond and Emerald ring that I recently completed. My customer wanted a smooth bezel setting which is one of my specialties. No prongs to break or catch on things, and a great way to protect fragile Emeralds. They are well matched and have a beautiful color.

This is a 14kt white gold insert ring that I designed for my customer to go with her engagement ring. The center oval diamond ring slips into the insert which is a swirl design set with small diamonds.

This is a 14kt white gold diamond engagement set. I tried something different with the wedding band per my customer's request. The wedding band is open at the top and slips into the sides of the prongs on the marquis diamond and stays perfectly in place. I was pleased how nicely it lines up and matches the row of side diamonds.

This a 14kt yellow gold Amethyst and diamond ring that I just completed. I took some gems from other unwanted pieces, used the scrap gold as credit and created a new look for the gems. A bypass shank with the Amethyst set on an angle. Enjoy and have a great weekend!

This is a new ring design that has a lot going on! The center stone is a beautiful Tanzanite. It is surrounded with a circle of diamonds ,then diamonds and tsavorite garnets on the side of the gallery. The final touch is an oval tsavorite dangle.

14kt white gold, garnet and diamond, infinity design ring. This was designed for my customer who wanted her son's birthstone in the center with pave set diamonds. It has a low profile for comfortable wear.
